"The point of the Fourth Amendment, which often is not grasped by zealous officers, is not that it denies law enforcement the support of the usual inferences which reasonable men draw from evidence. Its protection consists in requiring that those inferences be drawn by a neutral and detached magistrate instead of being judged by the officer engaged in the often competitive enterprise of fettering out crime."--Justice Jackson, United States Supreme Court, in Johnson v. United States (1948).
Because the business of law enforcement can be so zealous and competitive, the Mosley Law Offices believe that providing strong defenses for individuals accused of crimes helps to preserve liberty for all who may be accused, and indeed for everyone generally. We have obtained favorable outcomes in defending prosecutions in Appellate, Superior, State, Magistrate, Recorder's, and Municipal Courts, in the City of Lawrenceville, where our offices are located, in the County of Gwinnett, of which Lawrenceville is the county seat, and throughout the greater Atlanta Metro area.
We are active in the Bar Association Criminal Defense Section in our home County of Gwinnett (GCCDB) and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (GACDL) of which Drew Mosley is a Sustaining Member. Our offices are conveniently located next to the Gwinnett Court Buildings and just a few miles from the Gwinnett Detention Center/Jail. While Gwinnett is home base, we serve the greater Atlanta Metro area and enjoy appearing in DeKalb, Fulton, Hall, Cobb, Cherokee, Forsyth, Barrow, Douglas, Clayton, Walton, Newton, Jackson, and other surrounding counties.
We defend clients who have been accused of or who anticipate they may be accused of
